Privacy Policy

Safari Planner respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

When you use Safari Planner, we may collect:

· Planner answers (destination, area, days, travel month, style, group, budget); stored in your browser's localStorage only, not on our servers unless you contact support.

· Pro status: a cookie (wep_pro) and localStorage flags (wep_paid, wep_pro_token) to remember paid access. Cookie duration matches the plan you buy: 1 week, 1 month, or up to 1 year.

· Free trial usage: how many free itineraries you've generated, stored both in localStorage (wep_free_count) and in a short-lived cookie (wep_fc).

· Email address: if you contact us; if you purchase Pro (handled by Lemon Squeezy for checkout); or if you sign in with Google to activate Pro on a new device, in which case Firebase Authentication collects your Google account email so we can match it against your Lemon Squeezy purchase.

· Usage data: if you accept cookies, Google Analytics may collect anonymised visit data. Hosting logs may temporarily record IP addresses for security.

· To verify your Pro plan, license key, and payment status (via Lemon Squeezy, Firebase Authentication, and our Cloudflare Worker).

· To match the email from Google sign-in against your Lemon Squeezy purchase record and activate the correct Pro plan on a new device.

· To improve the tool and respond to support requests.

· To measure site traffic when you consent to analytics.

· Lemon Squeezy: payments and license keys for all Pro plans (1 week, 1 month, 1 year). See their privacy policy.

· Google Firebase: authentication for Google sign-in, used to activate Pro on a new device. See Google's privacy policy.

· Cloudflare: hosts our payment and licence verification worker, which checks your plan status, purchase email, and activation requests, and may process request metadata.

· Google Analytics: loaded only if you click "Accept all" on the cookie banner. See Google's privacy policy.

· Google AdSense: ads on the homepage, loaded only after you accept cookies. See Google's policy above.

We use localStorage for planner answers, free-itinerary counts (wep_free_count), and Pro tokens (wep_paid, wep_pro_token). The wep_pro cookie remembers Pro access for the length of your plan: up to 7 days, 1 month, or 1 year, depending on which you buy. The wep_fc cookie records your free-itinerary count. The wep_cookie_consent value in localStorage records your cookie choice. You can clear everything via your browser settings.

You can delete stored data by clearing cookies and localStorage. For payment or account questions, contact [email protected].

Our service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.

We will update this page when necessary. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
