Safari Trip Planner creates a personalised, day-by-day safari itinerary from six inputs: destination and area, number of days, travel month, travel style, group type, and budget. It's built for travellers who want a structured plan without hours of research.
Answer six quick questions on the homepage; country and park/circuit, trip length, when you plan to travel, style, who's travelling, and total budget. The tool then builds a day-by-day plan with seasonal pricing notes. Free users get up to three itinerary previews; Pro unlocks the full plan, species list, packing list, editing, and PDF downloads.
The itineraries are a solid starting point built from detailed knowledge of safari destinations, parks, and travel patterns. Conditions on the ground; park fees, road access and seasonal availability can change, so we recommend cross-checking key details with a local operator or your accommodation before you travel.
You can generate up to three free itinerary previews per browser, enough to compare routes and see how the planner works. The full day-by-day breakdown, wildlife species list, packing list, editing, and unlimited PDF downloads require Pro.
Pro ($49/year) gives you the complete itinerary for every day of your trip, species list, a tailored packing list, in-browser editing, unlimited PDF downloads, and unlimited regenerations. Access is valid for one year from purchase.
Yes. Click "Upgrade to Pro" after generating a preview, or enter a license key if you already purchased. Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy; you'll receive a license key by email to activate Pro on this device and others.
Pro is $49 USD per year (one-year access, not a recurring auto-charge unless you choose that in Lemon Squeezy). The checkout page shows the exact price for your region.
Payments are processed securely via Lemon Squeezy, which accepts major credit and debit cards. M-Pesa and other local payment methods are not currently supported.
Refunds are not offered once a license key has been activated, except where required by law. If you have a billing problem before activating, email editor@joelodimo.com within 7 days of purchase. See our Terms and conditions for details.

The planner only supports the countries and areas shown in step one. If your destination is missing, email editor@joelodimo.com. We're always expanding coverage.

After generating an itinerary, use the license key field below the upgrade button on the results screen. Paste the key from your email and click Activate.
